In a bad mood
All I can say is the experience was terrible. I downloaded their win version of the app, but it cannot be opened or deleted at all. This is unbearable for OCD patients!
Ever heard of temporary files?
Quality of translations (with context ) has improved, but logging into your pro account (and you will be recurringly logged out) will DELETE the entire text you had already typed in the software standalone app.
They can ban you from using DeepL Pro for no reason
I was halfway through my free trial for DeepL Pro when I tried to upgrade my plan. No payment would go through so when I contacted DeepL they answered with: "We are sorry that you could not successfully complete your booking process. We have reviewed your case and regret to inform you that, due to internal policies, we have to reject your request to conclude a contract with us and therefore cannot offer you a DeepL Pro subscription." I still had a week left on my free trial and they halted my pro account! What on earth could I have done to upset their "internal policies"?? They are not answering me about this, I was fully ready to pay or a year subscription and I am not allowed for some obscure reason. Embarrassing.
Desktop app : dictionnary part, content difficult or impossible to see
I use Deepl all the time and really love it, so first of all thank you. But as I don't have the Pro licence, it is apparently not even possible to contact you guys to provide feedback. So I just wanted to ask if you are aware that in the new feature you introduced in the desktop app where we can find more meanings and alternatives to words and also the sound of words, the white, blue and grey colour chosen are quite difficult to read and that some part just appear in white on white background and that if I don't select the text i can't see it ? I wanted to send you a printscreen but couldn't find the feedback button so that's why I write here. Thanks in advance for all the work you do Kind regards
Excelent customer service
Due to an administrative mishap, I payed for two DeepL Pro subscriptions on my two accounts, with one of them being completely obsolete. Since this was entirely my fault, I did not have high hopes of resolving this issue when I contacted the DeepL customer service team. To my surprise, they reached out to me within 2 days and offered to retroactively cancel one of my subscriptions and reimburse my payment. All in all, great experience!
The actual translation is great but service is terrible
The actual translation is great, but I encountered error messages when trying to pay them for DeepL Pro. I emailed customer service, and they responded that "due to internal policies" they would not allow me to purchase a subscription. This makes absolutely no sense, and they have not responded to my follow-up.

Nachdem ich mehrere erfolglose Versuche unternommen hatte, ein Deepl Pro Advanced Abonnement zu kaufen, kontaktierte ich den Support, um herauszufinden, woran es liegen könnte. Als Antwort erhielt ich die Information, dass mir aufgrund interner Richtlinien ein Deepl Pro Abonnement verweigert wird.

Moin zusammen Mein Englisch ist little flat. Kürzlich habe ich einen Vorverstärker erworben, der sehr spezielle Möglichkeiten und Voreinstellungen bietet. Ein Manual wird ausschließlich in englisch angeboten. Nach kurzer Suche war klar: "DeepL-Pro" muss her. Aus 28 Seiten simpel die Texte kopiert (Strg & A), in DeepL eingefügt, fertig. Die Übersetzungs-Qualität ist sehr gut und alles war sehr zügig abgeschlossen. Was gibt´s da noch zu sagen?! Fantastisch! Dank & sonnige Grüße Klaus

I have cancelled my subscription and they still changed me a big amount. My bank says they tried taking money since a couple months. Do not try this app.
This is pure credit card fraud
This is pure fraud. I never heard of this company, but all of a sudden I see a charge on my credit card from deepl.com. I reported this immediately.

Bester Übersetzer, den es zur Zeit gibt. Support service hat sich per Mail innerhalb einer Stunde gemeldet und war ausgesprochen benutzerfreundlich. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden.

Ich habe mit deepL erstaunlich gute Ergebnisse beim Übersetzen poetischer Songtexte eines russischsprachigen Gitarristen gewinnen dürfen! In nur wenigen Sekunden wurde mir ein 5-seitiges Textheft einwandfrei übersetzt. Das Konzert kann kommen und ich werde entspannt, mit gutem Gewissen und in reinster Form, die Worte des Poeten wiedergeben können. Danke, deepL <3
Worthless ticket support
Their customer support is basically non-existent. They overcharged me for translation credits by a margin of 20x, and when I opened the ticket, they closed it immediately without offering an actual solution. They just gave me a template response that they will forward to the developers to improve their bugs in the fire. Is this supposed to be a serious company???
Totalmente Insatisfecho y Bastante ofendido
Me parece una falta de respeto que el idioma español no tenga distinción entre latino y castellano, y el idioma ingles si tenga distinción entre americano y británico. sumado a que el lector de captura de pantalla de traducción no funciona muy bien pues este no detecta bien los textos con fondo trasparente y de tipografía diferente como el formato footlight MT el cual confundía la letra T en minúscula con el símbolo +. Por ultimo lo del glosario de palabras me pareció buena idea lo unico que me molesto fue que te limiten el uso de palabras para suscribirte, y que la suscripcion gratis aparte de tener que usar targeta, no este disponible en paises de sudamerica, ademas al momento de suscribirte aun te piden que pages. Esto es una falta de respeto a la educacion internacional de lengua extrangeras y me hacen pensar que ustedes no les interesa unir personas alrededor del mundo, sino que solo quieren dinero.

Vorsicht vor diesen Übersetzer
Vorsicht vor diesen Übersetzer. Nach dem ein paar Sätze von der Software übersetzt wurden stellt der Übersetzer seine Funktion ein. Sowohl die Desktop App sowohl als auch die Web-Anwendung. Bei jeden Versuch soll ich nun ein monatliches Abonnement bezahlen. Ohne dieses Abonnement sind keine weiteren Übersetzungen möglich. Angeblich soll man etwas warten bis eine gewisse Zeilenzahl wieder kostenlos übersetzt werden können. Ich warte nun schon ein paar Tagen darauf. Bei jedem Versuch zu übersetzen erscheint nun ein Pop-Up mit "Probiere 30 Tage kostenlos aus und bezahle danach mindestens 88,88 Euro oder für 299,88 Euro und Empfohlen wird mir die Ultimate Version die ich auch die 30 Tage Testen soll für super niedrige 599,88 Euro pro Jahr. Ziemlich stolze Preise für eine Übersetzung. Ebenso schlimm ist, das die Desktop-App persönliche Daten Versendet, denn bei dem Versuch die Web-Anwendung zu benutzen werde ich sofort Identifiziert und sperrt mir die Nutzung des Übersetzers. Das ganze Scheint übelster Scam zu sein. Denn die Preise sind so irrsinnig hoch und das fehlen von monatlicher Zahlweise deutet halt sehr auf Abzocke und Abo falle hin.
Bonnes traductions mais abonnement impossible
Les traductions sont très bien mais les développeurs devraient mettre autant d'efforts dans l'expérience acheteur !!! Au bout de quelques utilisations, Deepl me demande de souscrire un abonnement, c'est tout à fait normal. Sauf qu'il est impossible de s'abonner ! le système tourne en boucle et maintenant je suis bloqué. Impossible de trouver un service support pour me dépanner :-(

Ich kann nicht mehr kostenlos DeepL verwenden und weiss jetzt nicht mehr wie ich weiter in Spanien studieren kann. DeepL hatte mir immer das Leben gerettet aber seitdem ich es nicht mehr ohne Abonnement benutzen kann ist meine Meinung über die Webseite im Flug nach unten gefallen. Bin sehr enttäuscht über diesen Vorfall. Werde die Webseite NICHT mehr weiterempfehlen. Ich bin empört!!!
