Used to be a perfect translator
Honestly, i have been using the tool for 3 years, it is splending, simple to use and normally efficient. Recently, everything has changed, the app froze the language detection is dumb or non existent and it makes the user feels like everything is made to switch to the paid version. Thumbsdown

Es ist zum ausrasten!!!! Erstens bekomme ich nur noch Fehler! egal ob von der app oder online, dann ist permanent das limit erreicht. selbst nach einem tag ohne Übersetzung. und selbst wenn ich den bezahlten plan nutzen will, dann kann ich nicht mal bezahlen.. sorry da ist was schief gelaufen... Leute so macht man keine Geschäfte ... das war es, wir gehen zu google und lassen da unser Geld.

Habe eine Ausstattungsbeschreibung eines Autos vom Ungarischen ins Deutsche übersetzt. Es fehlt mehr als die Hälfte der Ausstattung in der Übersetzung. Das ändert sich auch nicht, wenn ich mich anmelde. Deepl der "beste" Übersetzer? Ich bin kein Freund von Google, aber der Google-Übersetzer hat zumindest alle Angaben übersetzt. Ich halte deshalb Deepl nicht für sonderlich kundenorientiert.

Le meilleur traducteur au monde ?????? Vraiment ????
DeepL est un traducteur catastrophique qui invente des mots qu'on n'a jamais écrits !!!! Par exemple, j'avais écrit "la population n'ayant pas assez d'argent, le seul moyen de s'échapper, c'est de créer"... DeepL traduit en anglais "... the only way to escape is to go to Paris"... Euuuuh.... C'est pas du tout ce que j'ai écrit ! J'ai essayé de contacter l'assistance technique de DeepL pour leur signaler les soucis de traduction qui arrivent malheureusement souvent avec DeepL, j'ai trouvé le lien de contact, mais attendez, parce que là, c'est quand même le comble ! Quand on clique sur ce lien, aucun formulaire ni adresse mail n'apparaît !!!! Juste un message disant "Pour nous contacter directement, veuillez vous abonner à DeepL Pro." (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Ce genre d'attitude complètement hermétique et méprisante envers les utilisatrices/eurs d'un service n'a qu'une seule place : la poubelle ! Alors je retourne à Google translator bien qu'il fasse souvent des erreurs... Au moins lui, n'invente pas des choses que l'on n'a pas écrites !!! Juste une précision : ces mots ajoutés dans la traduction en anglais ne sont pas une suggestion... J'ai terminé ma phrase par un point et "is to go to Paris" est resté ! Imaginez un peu les personnes qui ont 1000 choses à faire et qui utilisent DeepL pour écrire un mail dans une autre langue !!!!! La, le ou les destinataires ne doi(ven)t RIEN comprendre de ce qu'on leur dit !!!! Et des erreurs sont à un niveau aussi flagrant, pourtant très simple à éviter, je n'ose imaginer pour la subtilité et l'adéquation des mots traduits correctement !!!
Only for simple use
For everyday and simple use, it's much better then for example Google Translate. But it's far behind the best LLMs that are out there, which shows a vast room (and potential) for improvement. In my experience, I bought the paid version to speed up translation of my book, but the problem is that it translates word by word without understanding the context. There were so many false friends in the text that were not detected, that it's really a pity... For the world from 2 years ago, it was absolutely great and sufficient, but nowadays, it's really outdated...

Pesimo!, solo buscan cobrar por absolutamente todo!, señores a ver si espabilan y buscan otras vias de monetización que el cobro por uso es de la época del hilo negro!!!. Obviamente recomiento el uso de cualquier otra opcion gratuita, no una web que te cobran por todo o tienes q esperar. BASURA

Gut, aber sehr viel Luft nach oben.
An sich eine gute Sache, aber vor allem in der Write-Funktion, die bessere Texte verspricht, noch stark verbesserungsbedürftig. Starke Verben werden durch schwache ersetzt, teilweise fehlen ganze Nebensätze, die für die Handlung wichtig sind, DeepL aber anscheinend als nicht notwendig erachtet und einfach weglässt. Mein Fazit: Für geschäftliche E-Mails, die kurz und prägnant sein sollen, in Ordnung, aber für Autoren, die Romane schreiben, nicht zu gebrauchen.

Kundenservice gleich Null! Außer einer automatisierten Antwortmail passiert nichts! Auch nicht nach 5 Tagen wie in der Mail angekündigt. Im Ignorieren sind die echt gut.

Loop error - can't sign up for Pro
I tried to signup for DeepL Pro, but my address was not accepted. The error message says, "The address could not be verified. Please check it and change if necessary. In case of problems please contact our support." But when I click on the SUPPORT link, I get another message that says, "Please subscribe to DeepL Pro to contact us directly." It's a loop! There's no way to sign up to get help signing up so I can't get help...
Disappointing Experience with Deep Translate
I recently had a rather frustrating experience with Deep Translate while working on a text. Just as I was making progress, my work was abruptly halted by a prompt demanding that I subscribe to their Pro membership, which requires credit card information. To make matters worse, the service did not provide me with an opportunity to copy the text I had been laboring over for an hour. This lack of basic courtesy and flexibility in their system was quite disappointing. Moreover, I found the quality of the translation to be subpar. Given the inconvenience caused and the underwhelming performance of the tool, I cannot recommend Deep Translate. There are other translation services out there that offer better accuracy and user-friendly policies, making them more reliable choices for anyone in need of translation assistance.
I'm sooo tired of DeepL
I'm sooo tired of DeepL! Translations are OK, but support sucks. I just left a problem with them and am told they'll be back in 5 working days? 5 days??? Luckily, I have nothing to do over the next 5 days!! DeepL's new online app is a disaster. It lists me as a DeepL pro client but only translates 1500 words of a document. My subscription is up in the summer. I won't renew.
Do Not Use DeepL Translate
It titles itself as the world's best translator but can't even get basic words correct. Just use Google Translate.

Customer service does not exist. I pay this company hundreds of dollars a year, but not once have I received a reply. Furthermore, they constantly update their software tool and frequently introduce bugs and problems. In short, this software is a constant nuisance.
