I translate a range of texts into different languages: easily with DeepL. In addition to common European languages, languages with other scripts are also included - and can be used without any problems.

Weak API and the best file translation
- can’t add a deposit up via API, and the API is quite expensive; - the translation quality is sometimes worse than GPT 5.2; - the best at translating files (PDF, Word, etc.).

Szkoda że nie da sie mniej. Kiedyś był bez imitów znaków a teraz 1500 max na tłumazcenie co utrudnie prace oraz po uzyciu kilka razy podczas nauki dostałam nagle blokade na 9 dni ponieważ nie mam premium. Teraz jest tam dużo reklam i jakość tlumaczenia również spadła i czesto strona sie psuje. Jestem zawiedziona

I subscribed to DeepL Pro specifically to translate complete books, exactly as advertised. In practice, I was unable to translate even a single book. This is not a minor limitation but a fundamental failure of the core feature that motivated the purchase. The product does not deliver what is promised, and the support/solution center is ineffective, providing no clear explanation, fix, or resolution. What makes this especially disappointing is that billing works perfectly, while the advertised functionality does not. Charging users for a service that cannot be used as described is unacceptable. My experience has been frustrating, time-wasting, and disappointing. Until DeepL delivers the features it promotes and offers competent customer support, I cannot recommend paying for this subscription.

Perhaps the existing features should be made more flawless. Because from time to time, various problems arise. In the case of Telegram, I have to log out of the app and then back in for the icon to appear. The translation in the icon is usually terrible. I have to check the translation line by line to make sure I'm reading the correct text. Sometimes it inserts "offensive terms" into the text that I would never use. I don't dare send it without translating it into Hungarian because I can't be sure of the text. It often happens that when I replace part of a sentence, it puts its own text back in, which doesn't result in the sentence I want to communicate. This means that sometimes I have to struggle with the translation. This makes conversation impossible; only correspondence is possible. Last night it slowed down and then stopped. It was advertised as the best and most accurate translation program. I have to assume that the development has made the existing program worse and worse. It's actually good, but it makes a lot of mistakes, which is a disadvantage for me. I also had to edit this text in the external large translator. There is no other translator in the extensions in this browser. It took me an hour to edit and read through what I wanted to say in translation.
