I’ve recently been in contact with…family in Germany and Poland
I’ve recently been in contact with several archives, web authors and foreign family members. I began with GT but found those messages not well received. I tried DeepL and the translations immediately just worked. We’ve been able to conduct rather lengthy conversations and my usage has been great Additionally, I’ve been able to translate entire documents that I’ve produced to other languages very quickly using the keyboard shortcuts. I’ve found it to be brilliant and with every penny.

I use it on a daily basis as a valuable translator from/to Bulgarian and it is great for that purpose.
Good for European Portuguese
I use the app (free version) because it reliably knows European Portuguese -- most other translators slip into Brazilian. It works well. I have not had any locals correct my results!

I have used both the free and paid versions and it has been very good. I agree with some people that the use of AI has degraded some of the functionality but, as an occasional user I am very happy with it and I am grateful for the free facility when I don't need to do large and complex translations. I find it disheartening that some people seem to feel entitled to perfection without any investment.

I typically only write bad reviews simply because things should work the way customer service oriented businesses say they will and then don't. But not with DeepL. This is a lifesaver app with multiple options to help you. If you need dependable and reliable translation services, DeepL is the way to go! Thanks DeepL!!!
Invaluable app
I couldn't do without it since I moved to Spain 3 years ago without knowing the language. DeepL has helped me in all aspects of my life, from legal issues, health visits and just regular shopping. Fantastic!!

I have been using DeepL since 2021 and I think the resource is very good and it helps professionals really weed out a lot of translation work in a very short time. Over the years there has been a few glitches and the translation quality has been wobbly a bit. But I think over all it still is very good. DeepL Write is also a great resource. Like every of such service, one has to proofread before sending so, I think I will give the team a 4 star rating.

My experiences has been poor
My experiences has been poor, with availability of Ai translation on the increase, I had high hopes. Extension for safari doesn't work, the cost vs the volume it can translate is poor. Paid for a year but I doubt Ill renew, overall a very poor user experience

I rarely need a translator, but I have been using this one for years and have always been satisfied. Fast, uncomplicated, and accurate.

Datenschrott App für Androit. In der kostenlos Variante übersetzt der Datenmüll nur unbrauchbaren Nonsens. Dann einmal installiert wird das Telefon alle Grundeinstellung geändert das hier der Anbieter ein Bewegungs Profil erstellen kann und die Daten vom Handy saugen. Ich wollte ist USB Medium ans Handy anstecken und funktioniert nicht was vor der Installation von Deep gegangen ist. Auch das öffnen von Telefonnummer aus dem Internet nicht möglich. Finger weg von dem Anbieter auch Windows Soft ist Schrottsoft und richtet einen großen Schaden an. Niemals installieren. Pc und Handy mussten neu instaliert werden. Schrott Müllsoft. Nur 0 Sterne.Finger weg

Déception : de moins en moins de capacité
Comme les utilisateurs de longue date, je regrette la nouvelle politique de Deepl. Je suis aujourd'hui limitée à 300000 mots et 3 fichiers traduction par mois ! Je regrette de m'être réabonnée (d'autant que ces changements n'étaient pas indiqués - et on comprend pourquoi !). A l'heure où l'IA gratuite traduit tout sans problème (certes moins bien), j'ai dans l'idée que Deepl se tire une balle dans le pied.
