No matter what I do, I can't subscribe to free trial. It keeps saying 'The address could not be verified.... blah blah, CONTACT SUPPORT'. But you CANNOT contact support, unless you have an account. Catch 22. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish
App mit Pro-Account zunehmend unbenützbar
Die Übersetzung ist zumindest für EN - DE / DE - EN ok (auch wenn Kontext-Erkennung gefühlt schon mal besser funktioniert hat), leider ist die Desktop App im Pro Account nicht mehr zu gebraucht. Man wird ständig ausgeloggt, die App stützt immer wieder ab bzw. bliebt hängen und auch Short-Codes (Cmd +C +C) funktionieren nach Updates plötzlich nicht mehr.

Good App and website anoying pro Version Advertising
Deepl is a very accurate Language translator. Over 90% of translation accuracy. I appreciate it. On the other hand, the pro version is promoted too often and my account is restricted too many times they ask me to buy a pro version, but the pro version is too expensive for me to afford due to the high pricing policy. On a positive note, the website and app are easy to operate and the data security is fine, even in the free version. Overall, I can recommend this translator as a safe and accurate website with a good data security.

Der Preis ist für die Pro Version absolut nicht wert. Man ist mehr mit der Verwaltung des Deepl-Clients beschäftigt, als mit der eigentlichen Übersetzung! Wirklich immer - wenn ich den Rechner hochfahre - muss ich mich erneut anmelden. Noch viel schlimmer wird das Ganze, wenn man zwei Rechner hat und parallel arbeitet. Dann wird man offenbar bei einer Session abgemeldet. Das ist so nervig, dass man den Client am liebsten wieder deinstallieren möchte. Genauso oft funktioniert dann der Short-Cut STRG+CC nicht. Ich muss mich den Vorrednern leider anschließen, die Übersetzungen werden seit Monaten immer schlechter. Vor einem Jahr waren die Übersetzungen wenigstens noch zu gebrauchen, heute kommt z.T. nonsens raus. Sehr frustrierend. Ich habe mein Abonnement wieder gekündigt.

I have been illegally charged (a second time) for an account that I had cancelled within the free trial period. The first time when I notified about this problem I received a response within 24 hours and refund within 10 days. This second time I have had no response to a 300€ charge!! I never subscribed again, so they have illegally charged my card a second time. I have contacted my bank to prevent any further charges however am extremely frustrated by this.

Used it all the time but became unuseable
I used to use it all the time because the translations were better than google translate for example. However since a few months there is this weird bug that when translating multiple sentences, it just skips entire sentences randomly. Of course like this i can not rely on the tool anymore and am therefore going back to google translate. I wanted to write to them directly, but they don't even allow you to report bugs without being a subscriber which is ridiculous. Too bad to see one of the promising European startups dying in such an avoidable way...

Die ersten Übersetzungen fehlerfrei
Die ersten Übersetzungen deutsch-englisch waren wirklich sehr gut und vor allem auch sehr schnell. einziges Manko bisher: Die Tasten-Steuerung Str+C+C funktioniert einfach nicht. Übrigens: Für interessierte User wäre es sehr nützlich, wenn bei Beurteilungen die Kritiker auch schreiben würden, in welche Sprachen übersetzt werden sollte. Die Englische fassung jedenfalls ist weitgehend perfekt
Trop de censure
Trop de censure. A moins de rédiger un texte catholique ou religieux, tous les mots du language familier seront automatiquement changés, quitte à aller à contre-sens du texte. C'est plein de bigotterie américaine. Ne surtout pas acheter !

Abonné depuis deux ans. Une catastrophe concernant la convivialité. par mesure de sécurité certainement DEEPL rend le parcours de l'utilisateur absolument inconfortable notamment avec les mots de passe. L'enregistrement de l'historique au lieu de se faire automatiquement, est une galère quand le logiciel se plante vous perdez tout L'intelligence artificielle de Copilot ou de DeepSeek rendra bientôt cet outil complètement obsolet.Je vais me désabonner en plus DEEPL EST CHER pour ce que c'est et vous facture hors de prix la reformulation et correction des phrases Si vous vous trompez dans l'écriture d'un mot il ne le reconnait pas au lieu de chercher un mot approchant qui existe en Allemand

I've been using DeepL for over a year
I've been using DeepL for over a year. Suddenly it won't translate anything. The hovor icon doesn't show even though it's selected in my settings. Even if I use the shortcut -- the language selector appears but there's no way to actually hit select. Nothing works and when I attempted to contact support they said I had to pay to contact them. If using the products basic features now costs money, I wish I would have been warned... what is the point of having the extension at all if nothing works? Pretty unhappy with this product.
Betrug und Täuschung zur Abofalle
Ich schloss in der Prüfungsphase vom Wintersemester ein dreißigtätiges Probeabo für Deeple Writer Pro ab. Ich nahm dafür die Option in Anspruch kurz vor Ablauf der Probezeit per Mail über den baldigen Ablauf Informiert zu werden. Am 9 März kam diese Mail mit dem Wortlaut "Ihr Probeabo endet in 10 Tagen. Also ging von diesem Sachverhalt aus. Am 12 März erhielt ich die Rechnung für den Abschluss eines Jahresabos und es wurden am gleichen Tag 372,88 Euro von meinem Konto abgebucht. Bei dem bewerben wurde einem in Aussicht gestellt es wäre monatlich kündbar also dachte ich naja selbst wenn ich einen Monat für die Zeit der Prüfungsphase in Anspruch nehme ..könnte ich ja jederzeit kündigen. Bei dem Wechsel konnte man in meinem Kontobereich von Deeple in ein Monatliches wechseln allerdings erst nach Ablauf des einjährigen. Das ist arglidtige Täuschung. Also ich kann nur dafür warnen dort irgendetwas abzuschließen. Es gibt auch keinen wirklichen Kundensupport. Das ist alles Masche.

the most horrible translation program I've ever used in my life but not because the product itself is bad, no. Deepl is amazing at translating and correcting mistakes in writing. However EVERY SINGLE TIME I buy a new membership there is some problem. I am not exaggerating when I'm saying this but the last 10 purhchases, in all of them there was some issue that prevented me from using the deepl extension so I had to call the customer service, then they usually fix it in 2-3 days. But literally imagine that happening 10 times in a row in the past 10 months. I'm just left here thinking how is that even possible? I've never had issues like this with any other product ever in my life. Oh and also these people won't be refunding the days back deepl was unusable. So they are basically in a way stealing my money as well.
Viele Störungen
Obwohl für mich bisher die beste Lösung hat deepL in letzter Zeit leider extrem viele Störungen: Nicht nur bei mir sondern auch bei bekannten. Plötzlich wird Text in der App gelöscht, Verbindung zu Server bricht ab so dass keine Verbesserungen mehr vorgeschlagen wird etc.
