Abbonamento API DeepL è una truffa, non fatelo!
Avevo effettuato un abbonamento per utilizzare l'api di DeepL, ho pagato i 5 euro menisili, e in seguito disdetto il rinnovo automatico, ho continuato ad utilizzare tranquillamente l'api senza alcuna notifica, e al termine del mese, mi trovo un addebito di 40 euro, dato che a quanto pare il mio utilizzo dell'api non è avvenuto sotto l'abbonamento che ho pagato, ma con una modalità di pagamento per parola tradotta, una vera e propria truffa! EVITATE!

Jeg blev informeret om, at et abonnement hos DeepL ville koste mig et lille månedligt beløb, og at jeg kunne opsige det når som helst. Nu viser det sig, at der er blevet trukket et beløb på 599,33 euro for noget jeg ikke har givet mit samtykke til. Jeg forventer at få mine penge tilbage, da det ingen steder fremgår eksplicit og tydeligt, hvad I opkræver. Det er IKKE ACCEPTABELTat hæve et så stort beløb uden at gøre brugeren klart opmærksom på det. I was informed that a subscription with DeepL would cost me a small monthly fee and that I could cancel at any time. Now it turns out that an amount of €599.33 has been charged – something I did NOT give my consent to. I expect a refund, as it is not stated clearly or explicitly anywhere that you charge for. It is unacceptable to withdraw such a large amount without making this clearly known to the user.

Mispronunciation of the English name "Lawrence", in that spelling. Oddly, gets it right with the alternate spelling of Laurance.

Es wird immer schlimmer: Die Qualität der Übersetzungen ist nur noch grottig (selbst google und ChatGPT sind deutlich besser - und gratis!), die Bedienung der Oberfläche ist völlig wirr und nervt mit ständigen Zukauf-Angeboten. Inzwischen übernimmt DEEPL nicht einmal mehr die Schriftarten und die Formatierung von Texten - alles muss von Hand korrigiert werden. KÜNDIGEN & NICHT VERLÄNGERN!
What is happening recently?
I'm using Deepl for years but recently is horrible. Since introduced next-gen and classic modes they randomly switch while translating. I want classic, it stays for half hour and suddenly refreshes to next-gen. Or I click on word to see other options and it re-translates all text instead of showing other words. Absolute nonsence, no idea what I'm paying premium for! Not even mentioning that suddenly there are lots of mistakes, it doesn't recognise genders anymore, words are misspelled often. Very dissapointed. Sort it out for once.
Region blocking
Translation quality has become worse, the limit on the amount of text also caused problems. But they solved these problems perfectly and simply blocked the site for my region :). This service is just garbage.
Scamm
still charges money even after the subscription is cancelled. Scamm!!!!!

DeepL is an essential tool
As an expat in Germany, DeepL is part of my daily life, translating from German to English or Spanish. The DeepL Write feature is amazing, and I only have positive things to say about this tool and how much it has helped me.
Low Quality
Low Quality, high price. Very limited capabilities in academic paper translation.
Escroquerie
Escroquerie. DeepL propose un essai gratuit. Ce qui n'est pas clair c'est que même une fois l'offre d'essai désactivé, ils ponctionnent directement un abonnement d'une année (299,98 euros en ce qui me concerne) sur votre compte en banque à l'aide de votre CB (CB obligatoire pour l'essai gratuit il va sans dire). Obligée de bloquer ma cb et d'en commander une nouvelle car le service client est injoignable. J'ajoute que bien evidemment impossible de supprimer son compte.

Traduzioni così così
Lo utilizzo esclusivamente per la possibilità di tradurre testi senza modificarne il formato. In buona parte il formato è inalterato, ed in questo DeepL fa un buon lavoro. Per quanto riguarda le traduzioni, soprattutto quando si tratta di qualcosa di settoriale bisogna comunque ricontrollare e sostituire molte cose.

Actually I don't want to write anything about it, but honestly you used to be so good and now, just bad, best get your old developers / translators back and end this sad topic, just the fact that you change texts, I honestly don't feel like writing anything here anymore, you have cost me too much time, for me Deepl has finished! Eigentlich will ich nichts dazu schreiben, aber ganz ehrlich ihr wart mal so gut und jetzt, einfach nur noch schlecht, am besten holt eure alten Entwickler /Übersetzer zurück und beendet dieses traurige Thema, alleine schon das ihr texte Verändert, ich hab ehrlich gesagt auch keine Lust mehr hier was zu schreiben, ihr habt mir zu viel Zeit gekostet, für mich hat sich Deepl erledigt.
kostenlose Version ist 1000x besser als gekaufte Abo-Version…
Habe lange die kostenlose Version benutzt, die super ist. Dann habe ich ein Abo gekauft - und diese Version ist sowas von schlecht! Was für eine Täuschung: für die Geld bekommt man schlechtere Übersetzung.

DeepL was excellent in the past. But nowadays, the translation is pretty bad. Every LLM on the market is doing a better job. 😔

Ogni qualvolta si riscontra un problema con il traduttore è impossible otterene una qualsivoglia assistenza dal customer service. Ritengo che un'azienda al pari di DeepL dovrebbe avere un team di assistenza a disposizione dei clienti, considerando il costo degli abbonamenti.
disapointing quality lately
I used to be a satisfied customer, until these last months. I don't know what's happening, but it doesn't translate properly anymore. The result: parts of words, parts of sentences that don't make any sense and mixing all kind of languages. Very disapointing and thinking about to quit my Pro-subscription.

Sehr guter Kundenservice. Ich hatte vergessen, den Probemonat zu kündigen. Nachdem ich alles erklärt hatte, wurde das Geld sofort erstattet und eine passende Lösung angeboten.
