Descript makes editing way faster for me
I'm a big fan of Descript. Editing videos by rearranging text makes it way quicker, and I love the concept of 'scenes' to help speed up editing by auto animating elements in and out. The stability of the product has noticeably improved in the 2+ years I've been using it. I don't use a lot of the AI features like overdub and AI avatars, but just the core editing flow for me is great - I find it faster than using Premiere or Da Vinci, even with keyboard editing hotkeys. I'd be very sad if I could no longer use Descript

Descript is very intuitive

Ease of Use and Variety of Applications Descript has take script writing and video editing/production to a broad audience and increased speed to market for products. As content changes updates are quick and easy keeping products current for the users.
Game Changer!
As far as video editing software goes, Descript is a game changer! I love being able to edit my videos from the transcript and fix glitches like correcting speech when the internet has dropped out.

Great! Everything just works... like it should, but sometimes you just get surprised by the quality of for example the YouTube transcriptions. Good stuff!

Easy to spice videos into smaller videos for shorts. Exporting transcripts was super helpful for generating YouTube descriptions and titles. Chapter creation was awesome too!

Loved 1. The Free plan - Let's you get off the ground with projects and tinker with the controls. 2. The AI tool kit - It is awesome! 3. That there were no unnecessary glitches.
