Easy to Start, Hard to Cancel
I initially chose this as an alternative to Adobe Premiere because it was simpler and more affordable. At the beginning, I genuinely liked it for its ease of use and straightforward workflow. However, when I decided to unsubscribe, the experience became frustrating. The cancellation process was unnecessarily complicated and appeared to rely on dark patterns that made unsubscribing difficult. The service also stated that I could continue using it until the end of the trial period, but when I tried to do so, I was informed that my version was no longer compatible. When I attempted to download the newer version, Chrome flagged it as an unsafe application, which raised serious concerns. What started as a promising and user-friendly alternative ultimately turned into a disappointing experience. I’ll be looking for another solution.

Pessima esperienza da evitare assolutamente, in quanto è prodotto da un’Azienda che non concede il diritto di recesso, cosa che ho IMMEDIATAMENTE richiesto appena verificato l’addebito di una quota di €25 per un pacchetto con prova di 7 giorni, che non ho mai aperto. Il Diritto di Recesso è regolamentato da normative nazionali ed Europee e non può essere negato, il disprezzo delle regole di mercato è una mancanza di rispetto verso i clienti e dimostra la loro disonestà nei confronti dei consumatori.

2020 Founder Rights Denied - Account shows "Unlimited" but Export is Blocked
I am a July 2020 Founder Member and I am being denied my promised "Lifetime/Perpetual" rights. My Filmora 15 dashboard explicitly shows "Unlimited" expiration for my services, yet the software is currently blocking my exports with a paywall. This is a database entitlement error. I am being ignored by the "Olivia" bot and my attempts to seek help on social media are being deleted. I require a manual override from a Billing Supervisor to restore my account. Support Ticket: #5151480. Dear Olivia, I am now providing the "detail" you requested. Please note that a formal review of this case has been initiated on Trustpilot as of last night to document this failure to honor original contract terms. 1. The Legal Entity of my Account: In July 2020, I purchased a Founder Member license. Under the Consumer Rights Act, digital products must be "as described" at the point of sale. My contract includes "Lifetime" entitlements and specific Founder privileges that differentiate it from a standard perpetual license. By stripping these privileges from my account in your database, Wondershare is in Breach of Contract. 2. Unilateral Contract Alteration: Confirming that I have a "perpetual license" while ignoring the "Founder" tier is a deceptive practice. You have unilaterally altered the terms of my 2020 agreement. Under consumer protection laws, you cannot retroactively downgrade a "Lifetime" or "Founder" status once the consideration (payment) has been made. 3. Immediate Action Required: I am not a "standard" user with a "troubleshooting" issue. I am a Founder Member whose account has been mismanaged. I require this ticket to be escalated to a Billing Supervisor or Customer Success Manager immediately. I require a manual database override to restore my 2020 Founder Member Status and all associated privileges. As noted on Trustpilot, I am prepared to take this matter to the relevant Consumer Protection Agencies and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) if my original contractual rights are not restored. I look forward to a response from a manager with the authority to resolve this. Voleur, POP UP, fric fric fric
Voila, j’avais télécharger et payé l’application il y a quelques années et top. Maintenant, vous recevez des POP UP en permanance, des mises a jours ce fons automatiquement et vous devez payer de novueau une fois celle-ci installée. J’ai payé la nouvelle version et la je decouvre que non c’est une offre creative, que c’est un abonnement à 20 euros par mois et on me refuse le remboursement alors que je suis toujours dans les 14 jours apres sous-criptions car il considère que pour eux mon motif n’est pas valable. Bref mefier vous avec leur « offre » gratuite car si vous n’en voulez plus ils refusent de vous rembourser.

this lot are just a bunch of faceless scammers, they offer you a free 7day trial but take a full subscription.i cancelled this straight away and now they wont refund me, they even sent me an email saying sorry your leaving but not saying we are still keeping your money. do yourself a favour and steer clear of this lot, ive also found that there is more hidden charges along the way after you have signed up. its just a big scam to con you out of your own hard earned money... also a lot of these great reviews are fake. steer clear!!!

Abzocke! Bezahlt für lifetime Abo und plötzlich Lizenz jetzt nicht mehr gültig. Nachdem was ich hier lese ist es dann doch kein Einzelfall mehr. Ich wechsle jetzt zur Konkurrenz. Schade.
Not great
Not great, don't expect custom service, no replies. You are supposed to be able to transfer from an old machine to a new one. You can no longer obtain older versions - I bought 7.5.0 version, but can't load it, nice and simple works well but no longer downloadable. Loaded ver 7.8.3 as per autobot suggestion, looks ok, not like the new ver 15 which has every option under the sun for video creation etc, but far too complex to use! I bought ver 13 for old machine, that too is far too complex too, tried it and even familiarity of version 7.5.0 failed dismally. One thing to watch is registration code, you can enter it, but never see it again. I had to back to old email to get my 7.5.0 code which autobot said would work on 7.8.3 - it doesn't! I don't want to do much, change resolution, frame rate, wmv to mp4, cut and edit existing videos -delete bits etc. Can't find my ver 13 registration code which would work and support- what support! I shall be buying new video editting software elsewhere, and it won't be the swindlers Applian!

40 Euro "Lifetime" = 10 Years at max --> Abzocke Wie beschrieben: Habe ca. 2015 40 Euro für eine Lifetime Version ausgegeben. Schien mir ein guter Deal. Nun stehe ich nach all der Zeit da, mir wird gesagt, dass die aktuelle Arbeit von ca. 5 Stunden umsonst ist, da kein aktuelles Abo.. Damals war keine Rede davon (SIEHE "Lifetime" Kauf?!) Jetzt kommt etwas mit aktueller "Version", gleichzeitig kriege ich meine damalige Version auf dem aktuellen Server nicht, weshalb diese "I" Leute mir meine gekaufte Nutzung nicht gewähren?! UNTER KEINEN UMSTÄNDEN HOLEN! ABZOCKE!!!
Well intended product turned scammy
I am updating my review because I finally got a refund. Here is my issue: It took SO much for me to finally get a refund. I also haven't seen the refund yet because they said it takes 15 days- maybe longer. So, we'll see. Make sure you know exactly what youre getting. Their softward purchasing process is super confusing. They are not upfront with the cost. And there is no cost they show you, then you verify. You'll verify, thinking it's monthly or a free subscription, then they charge you $100-$200 like me. It was charged to a card I don't use, so I never saw the charge until a month later. Their customer service is awful. They send you all canned responses and pretty much say "review our policies" Why would I review your policies to look for holes that make you scam people? Why would I waste my time (more than I already have) because you can't do customer service well? That's like saying "Review our policies! I know we told you it was a monthly charge, and that's the button you clicked on, and that's what you verified, but jokes on you because our POLICIES state that we actually can charge you $1000. Ha Ha. Sorry for your loss. But, it's all in our policies." Like, no.... I still think the majority is a scam and they trick peopl ebecause they are not full transparent. There should be a page saying flat out: THIS is what you are buying. THIS is how much it will charge. THIS is what you will get. But they don't. They give you a long breakdown sheet of things the software has, but no price. Then, you contact an AI bot. Then you're sent to a ticking system. THEN, someone that doesn't read what you write will just say "read our policies". Its all very sad and annoying. I used to use filmora years ago and always loved the product. But whatever has happened in recent years is tanking the brand. So if you want to battle AI bots, have none of your questions answered sincerely without gas-lighting you, and take literally forever to finally get someone to READ what happened, then this is the product for you.
Violates EU Consumer Rights – Beware!
I had an annual Filmora subscription automatically renewed. I requested a refund within 14 days, citing my EU statutory right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU). Wondershare refused, claiming “personal reasons” and pointing to their own refund policy. This ignores EU law, which protects consumers in the Netherlands and across the EU. They are denying legal rights to force customers to pay for unwanted subscriptions. I cannot recommend this company to EU consumers — be aware, your statutory rights may be ignored.
Irreführendes Abo-Angebot.
Ich wollte die App testen und habe mir dafür die 7-Tage Free-Trial gebucht, bis ich dann sah, dass mir für irgend ein Basic-Abo, welches ich nie wollte, 50 Euro abgebucht wurde. Ich wollte dann von dem Rückgaberecht gebraucht machen, dies ging aber nicht. Sehr unübersichtlich und auch schlechter Support, bei dem ich auch nur eine KI-Antwort erhalten habe, die mir nicht geholfen hat.

depuis 6 mois, les mises à jour sont devenues un cauchemar pour moi : si je veux sauvegarder un fichier de 22 minutes, avec une image fixe et une bande audio, cela met 17 minutes. avant, je comptais trois fois moins de temps pour la sauvegarde. je comprends pas comment on peut plomber un logiciel à ce point. précision : j'ai un rog strix, une machine de guerre. il n'y a qu'avec filmora que j'ai des ralentis aussi forts.

I downloaded Filmora I DID think was great easy to use so I bought a lifetime key (big mistake) Then when I eventually worked out to activate the key found out that i can not use the efects etc unless i pay monthly WOW whata con. so all i have is a standard video editor could of got free or cheaer elswere. DO NOT BUY YOU ARE BEING SET UP
