Otter AI изменил мою жизнь
Как человек, который любит иметь и делиться заметками с встреч, Otter AI полностью изменил правила игры для меня. Он сохраняет заметки, пункты действий, скриншоты и инсайты по встрече. Это помогает мне лучше синтезировать встречи и сокращает более половины административной работы по подготовке и отправке качественных заметок. Я преданный поклонник!

Я нахожу инструмент для ведения заметок очень полезным. Планирование встреч (с помощью моего Google календаря), подведение итогов, выделение ключевых моментов и простота обмена заметками с другими — всё на высшем уровне. Я могу полностью сосредоточиться во время встреч, потому что всегда могу вернуться к Otter, чтобы получить ключевые моменты моих встреч. И да, этот отзыв был предоставлен в рамках акции Otter. Это очень хороший инструмент для экономии времени. В основном я использую его для составления отчетов, обзоров событий или документов на ходу. Ужасное обслуживание клиентов

Otter is very effective at transcribing and at recognising speakers
I'm giving otter.ai five stars because they are generous and very effective but I'll add a caveat because my main usage may be unusual.First of all, there are several pricing levels and one of them is free. I first came across otter.ai when I was looking for software to transcribe some (science) radio programs in order to create an index. It was effective at it but I found it could do something more, if it has a big enough sample it will recognise speakers from one audio file to another and so it can be used to diarise conversations. This is precisely what I wanted for an academic project to gather statistics on a radio soap. Otter.ai made me a cyber-monday offer so I bought a years subscription at the next level up (Pro) and renewed it after it expired. I've been very pleased with their service and was able to downgrade to the pro-lite level when my project finished. As I said, my usage is unusual and I'm more interested in the identification of the speakers than I am interested in the content. Here is a summary of the good and bad features.Good- training the software to recognise speakers was very easy and it doesn't need need large samples.- it's surprisingly accurate at transcribing speech and recognising speakers- new speakers are recognised as new and given a number until you add a name- when I down-graded to Pro, the software retained memory of the training by speaker- there is a good search facility and it can be restricted by speaker but not by file-name- files can be organised by folder- the software is improving all the time and will produce excellent summaries of a transcript (but always check, I have instances of complete misunderstanding)- the software integrates well with drop-boxNot Good- it is surprisingly good at transcription and speaker-recognition but it's not up to human standard and don't expect it to be as good as subtitles on live TV either, that is trained on a single speaker who repeats the actual speaker. In particular, it doesn't always get the boundaries between speakers correct and can't cope with a conversation of small phrases- There is a facility to rematch speakers but you have to open the transcript to do it. It would be useful to do it as a batch at the level of listing of files.- It's quite hard to manage names and speakers. You can't delete names and if you have two spellings of the same speaker you can't merge them.- When I subscribed to Pro level some batch-level processing was available (eg download all files in a folder) but this was moved to Business level during my subscription. Everything is done interactively at pro level.- A better upload mechanism would be useful. My upload facility is a little flaky and if otter encounters an error it will start again a few times and then give up. It would be better if it could break the file into parts and just re-upload the part when an error is encountered.- The search facility is quite good but could be improved. It does not allow for searching by folder and it does not recognise file-names so there is no search by date.- I wish there were a way of separating my account into projects so that, for example, I wasn't offered a name from a soap opera when I was tagging material from a science programmeBusiness Mode- I experimented with business mode by signing up for a free 2-week trial. The allowed period is quite good, 6000 hours, and it would have allowed me to transcribe a sixth of my material. If an offer similar to the cyber-monday offer repeats I may take it up but it is too expensive at the moment. Business mode allows some batch-processing but not as much as I would like. In particular, it doesn't allow batch submission for rematching speakers or of making synopses.

The helpful tool for non English speakers

Perfect Conversation recorder.The AI software not only captured my conversation but also recorded every single detail. And to top it , Otter allows you to share notes with individual or on team levels. That's pretty awesome.
New plans are restrictive and no human customer services.
They changed the pricing plan which I did not see as I was away. Then billed for a year. The AI customer service bot says it is non-refundable and I cannot speak with a human. The package is not suited to my needs. I was disappointed with the accuracy levels and as I am 2 weeks past the renewal date I should be able to get a refund and cancel the subscription.
Use Otter.ai if you’re in uni
Otter is a really straightforward site, and this made uploading my audio files and receiving my transcription very easy. I had to listen to 3x30min podcast episodes for an assignment and Otter.ai significantly cut down my planning, drafting and writing time. Have already recommended to friends and family. This app is very sneaky. It is designed to stole your data. It was installed into my computer without my intention, right after a meeting and spread through someone's email showing the recored of the meeting. It is without sender's intention nor notice either. After that it goes to all my meetings and send record to all my meeting attendees. I spent lots lot time still can't figure out how to delete it. It is terrible. It is by default going to all your meetings and stole all your conversation, data, image and video... If you don't want these terrible experience and don't want to lose your data. don't touch it. Finally I tried to delete it by log in their website. but still don't know if it is successful. Awful thief!!!!
Customer service experience was positive (though slowed by being limited to email)
Just wanted to add a positive review saying that (counter to some of the reviews I read) I had a decent experience with their customer service team. Brittany was very helpful and relatively expedient in solving my issues over the weekend.Only giving 4 stars because there should really be a phone number for customer service as well if you're paying a regular subscription fee.The experience I had with customer service over email was good (though slower in resolving my issues that a phone call would have been).

Для чего вы будете использовать эту информацию? Для транскрипции..?
Отсутствие ответа от службы поддержки
Нет ответа от службы поддержки, и я не могу получить доступ к аккаунту уже 4 дня, что влияет на мой бизнес. Я создал заявку 4 дня назад, и ответа нет. Как-то потребовалась двухфакторная аутентификация, но я никогда не получал возможность её настроить, и теперь я не могу получить доступ к своему аккаунту и записям!! ОБНОВЛЕНИЕ: 30.05.2024 Otter.ai связались со мной и решили мою проблему поддержки. Спасибо, Otter.ai!
Рассылал спам каждому участнику в моем календаре сразу после регистрации
Я тестировал несколько сервисов для заметок к встречам одновременно. В течение часа после регистрации, еще до проведения встречи, Otter разослал спам всем участникам всех моих запланированных встреч, предлагая им зарегистрироваться. Это не "хакерский рост", это просто старомодный спам. Надеюсь, их уволят того, кто придумал эту идею.
